The things I didn't write and other reasons to be cheerful

Well I'm still uninspired.  Nothing is sending me rushing to the keyboard to type up the latest thoughts chasing each other around my head.  Perhaps I'm just brain dead.  Anyway, it's at times like this that I often look back at those posts that I began, but never finished.  Luckily for all of you I guess.  So my first reason to be cheerful is some of the wonderful words of wisdom that I never shared with the world.  Like these:

Clothes.... or not
Adventures on the high seas
How to survive the office
Beauty and the blog
Grumpy old women
Innocents abroad

And that's a selection from just one year.  Though looking at the list I'm thinking that maybe some of them could be interesting after all...

Film Love

The Christmas film fest began with Angel and I heading out to see Mockingjay and, well let's just say that it's my film of the year so far.  And I can't wait to see it again.

Relaxation

I finally got my second facial, thanks to the voucher from some thoughtful friends.   I really enjoyed it, though the therapist clearly felt that she wasn't doing her job properly as she could find no evidence of relaxation.  Never a strong point of mine.   It's just as well she didn't see me doing a spot of yoga to pass the time during that scary bit where they put the pad over your eyes and go away and leave you with nothing to do for 10 minutes.

Thanksgiving

We're going to have a little celebration here and a roast dinner at Angel's request to give thanks for all the good things in our lives.

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

  3. I think is so hard this time of year, when we have way too many demands on our time, energy and just being. Especially when what inspires you to write might actually be a vent session you are afraid everyone will judge. Well, that is just me but what I am saying is go enjoy the movie and give thanks because that is what Angel needs more than anything
